BBC boss walks out over Jerry

BBC Radio 3 producer Antony Pitts has quit after watching the recent controversial Jerry Springer Opera. You can read the article here and watch the clip here.
Apparently over 40,000 people registered a formal complaint with the BBC before the programme was screened, but Beeb bosses still decided to screen it saying that the programme was not blasphemous and was "a really good piece of opera that had something to say"
Antony Pitts has inspired me to not 'bottle it' or blur the edges. I hope that if I ever have to make the same sort of decision I will have the strength of character to make it.
